Now Alcatel is back with yet another phone, this time dubbed the Alcatel Pixi 4 Plus Power. Ridiculous name aside, the Pixi 4 Plus Power has one big trick up its sleeve: a 5000 mAh battery.

The HTC One X won’t be arriving on AT&T until May 6, but there are numerous reports that indicate the flagship device has already reached the eager hands of some customers. What gives? It appears that some retail stores in the US have already received the phones ahead of schedule. So the few customers who got their hands on the HTC One X early probably have mad negotiation skills, connections to store staff, or are just plain lucky.

The Kickstarter project for Glyph caused quite a stir this time last year when the campaign surpassed its $250,000 goal in just a few hours. Eventually the campaign raised some $1.5 million for its inventors. If you haven’t heard of Glyph, it is a audio-visual headset that looks like a cross between Geordi’s visor and a set of expensive Bluetooth headphones. When the band is in its upright position Glyph functions like  pair of headphones, but flip it down and it comes a visor for watching movies and playing games.

The update brings Hangouts to version 2.0.2, and doesn’t add any major features, but does seek to make the app more usable for users. AT&T offers Next plans to subscribers after 6 months

AT&T wants to get some of its existing users to upgrade a bit earlier than before by offering AT&T Next contracts to its subscribers after six months. Starting today, anyone who signed an AT&T contract before January 18, 2014 can “upgrade” their standard contract to an AT&T Next plan after six months. Those who started a contract on Saturday will have to wait until July 18 to take advantage of this new offer.

HTC releasing blockchain-powered Exodus phone in 2018 for circa $1,000
