The Redmi K30S Ultra has launched in China. It’s a rebranded version of the Mi 10T which launched in Europe earlier this month. The K30S Ultra is significantly cheaper than the Mi 10T’s European price though. Xiaomi launched the Mi 10T series earlier this month, featuring powerful processors, high refresh rate screens, and big batteries. The phones launched in Europe and India, and now it looks like at least one phone is coming to its home market of China.
Over the weekend, users on Reddit and Google’s support forums noted that Assistant reminders on Android had stopped working. While the feature is still working on other devices such as Home Hubs, those who rely on their smartphone for everything are missing essential reminders.
Typically, after asking the Assistant to remind you about something at a given time and date, you would receive a notification alerting you to whatever was set. With this current bug, nothing ends up popping up or the reminder only shows up when the user goes looking for it.
One of the most impressive Google Pixel 4 features has to be the astrophotography mode, allowing users to accurately capture pictures of the stars. Google has previously touched on how it works, but the company has now published a full explanation on its AI blog, and it makes for some interesting reading.
First of all, the company notes that the Pixel 4 astrophotography mode allows for exposures of up to four minutes.

Netflix announced last week that it’s testing out a way to charge users for sharing their accounts with people outside their households. The streaming platform wants to make some extra money from those who share their passwords, and the reasoning it gave is that account sharing is impacting the company’s ability to invest in new projects. We’re not sure why it took Netflix so long to realize this and make account sharing paid.

There have been several reports about the arrival of the HTC Droid Incredible 4G to Verizon for quite some time now. But as of today, there’s still no official announcement about its release date. However, we did heard that the pricing for the handset might go as high as $299.99.
We now have some good news trickling in. While we’ll have to wait some more to learn the official release date of the phone, the HTC Droid Incredible 4G might not cost a hefty $299.
It’s peak chip announcement season, it seems, and Oppo has just unveiled its first piece of custom silicon at its Inno Day 2021 — named MariSilicon X. This is not a fully-fledged SoC like Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Google Tensor, but rather a custom image signal processor, or imaging NPU, imbued with Oppo’s machine learning smarts.
According to Oppo, algorithms are leading the way for mobile photography innovations yet SoC machine learning number-crunching capabilities are currently the bottleneck to better images.
Riot Games
TL;DR
Riot Games has confirmed that a Valorant mobile game is in the works. The developer notes that Valorant Mobile will cater specifically to the needs of mobile players. There’s no confirmed launch date at present. Riot Games’ tactical team shooter Valorant made its debut on PC a little over a year ago, attracting players from FPS and team-based games. Now, the developer has announced plans to bring the title to mobile.
