The Android 8.1 Oreo developer preview dropped yesterday and we’ve been pouring over its new features it brings to devices new and old. The test was run by Phone Arena, who paces phones through a grueling test using a web-script that simulates typical real life usage. They feature a stemless design, further cementing rumors that Apple could also ditch the stem on future AirPods. Appel’s AirPods have more or less looked the same over the years, with a stem hanging off the earbuds. Many brands copied Apple’s unique design over time, but it looks like the firm is finally ditching it for a stemless look, at least for its new wire-free Beats earbuds.
