If you’re like me, you live-and-die by the notifications on your phone. Between my email, reminders, calendar notifications, social network alerts, and the various other ways my phone says “Hey, check this out,” I would be utterly lost without my phone’s notifications.
As such, you can imagine how frustrating it was when certain apps on my OnePlus 5 stopped giving new alerts. At one point, even email notifications weren’t happening unless I opened Blue Mail and refreshed manually.

Google has just begun rolling out November’s Android security patch to all current Pixel and Nexus devices. Both factory images and OTA files are now available on Google’s developer websites, and we should expect over-the-air updates to reach devices in the next few hours.

You probably use encryption, in one form or another, every day. You might not know that you are, but you are. And my guess is that you don’t give it a second thought. Do you have a subscription based cable or satellite TV service? Guess what, some of that content will be encrypted. Do you connect to websites using https://? That’s more encryption. Ever created a .zip file with a password?

Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 4 is now streaming on Disney Plus, and it’s a great new chapter in the ongoing miniseries. Bucking fan theories to forge its own path, Obi-Wan Kenobi setting the stakes high while offering a compelling portrait of the early days of the Rebellion.
The series follows the Jedi Master as he lives in exile on Tatooine, watching over young Luke Skywalker. Pulled back into the fray by his old friend Bail Organa, Obi-Wan Kenobi is now on a rescue mission, trying to get Leia back home safely from the Imperial Inquisitors who have kidnapped her.

However, we have so much leaked info on the device already that you don’t need much of an imagination to know what it will look like, at least probably.

In today’s episode, the sinister Quadrooter vulnerability puts a billion Android devices at risk and won’t be fully patched until the September security release. The flaws appear in the drivers for Qualcomm chipsets – so, a vast majority of Android devices – and could potentially allow a hacker to take over your device completely. But don’t go stockpiling canned goods and barricading the basement just yet.
