If you caught all the exciting Android Wear 2.0 news yesterday but don’t already own a smartwatch on the Wear 2.0 update list (and aren’t feeling inclined to drop several hundred on a new watch just to experience it), you’re in luck. For just $123 you can now pick up the Fossil Q Founder smartwatch which is on the Wear 2.0 update list.
The Fossil Q Founder isn’t a brand new smartwatch with fancy LTE and GPS like the LG Watch Sport, but it is a very good looking wearable with the standard specs sheet: 4 GB of storage, 512 MB of RAM, 1.
In an age where you literally don’t have to leave your house to buy anything, it’s no wonder why video doorbells and security cameras have grown to be so popular. People want to know when other people are at their doorstep, whether it’s simply to greet friends or to see when your Amazon package has arrived. The thing is, many video doorbells don’t tell you exactly what’s at your door — much of the time you get a generic notification telling you something is there, just not what is there.

The Team Win Recovery Project’s touch-based recovery, better known as TWRP Recovery, is a popular alternative to the widely used ClockworkMod Recovery (which also has a touch-based version).
Being a custom recovery for Android, TWRP Recovery allows you to perform more dev-related tasks on your phone than stock custom recovery would provide. For instance, using TWRP Recovery, you can flash custom ROMs, install updates through ZIP files, create backups of your ROM, restore backups, reset your phone, wipe phone data, and more.
It is often said that Apple’s processors are at least two generations ahead of the processors available for Android. Samsung, Huawei, and MediaTek all make powerful processors for Android devices including the Samsung Exynos 990 and the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 5G. However Apple’s closest rival, in terms of performance, has often been Qualcomm with its Snapdragon range.
Qualcomm launched the Snapdragon 865 in early December 2019, and soon after its launch, it allowed some of the publications to test out the 865’s performance using a Qualcomm Reference Device (QRD).

Ars Technica has gotten Google’s mysterious Fuchsia platform up and running on a Pixelbook. The new OS supports smartphone and laptop display formats, though many features remain unfinished. A recent apps menu and split-screen mode are functional, but app buttons are nowhere to be found. Google Fuchsia is another operating system that the company is developing alongside Chrome OS and Android. Google’s been working on it since 2016, but has remained tight-lipped about the project.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is a cool Android smartphone that does not just accomplish its regular Android duties but runs PlayStation games, too. The dedicated game pad built into the Xperia Play makes this device a mini version of the PlayStation Portable (PSP).
Despite the fact that this smartphone can play PSP games, this one is still a true-blue Android device. And, because of that, we can install the CyanogenMod custom ROM into this machine.
