Essential Phone is getting Android 11 Developer Preview support

Essential recently announced its shutdown, stating at the time that the last official software update to hit the Essential Phone will be the already released February security patch. First spotted by Twitter user Branden Farmer (h/t: XDA Developers), Essential has opened a new branch named r-preview on their GitHub repository. The commits here are meant to make the Essential Phone more compatible with the Android 11 Generic System Image (GSI).

OnePlus 5T now available on Amazon India, includes referral program and offers

The highly anticipated OnePlus 5T launched just a few days ago, and it’s on sale today. The latest flagship smartphone from OnePlus is available in many territories around the world, including India, where it is now on sale on Amazon and OnePlus.net. On Amazon, the OnePlus 5T is currently available for Prime customers only, while all Amazon India customers will be able to place their orders on November 28. As part of the initial sale, OnePlus has introduced a “referral leaderboard” from today until November 30.
