Here's why you can't buy a Pixel 4 in India

The Pixel 4 series is official, but India isn’t getting its hands on them. Between a marketing blitz and the Pixel 3a series that was designed for emerging markets, the Pixel line up had finally started gaining momentum in India. However, with the launch of the Pixel 4, that comes to a halt. Google has announced that the phone won’t be making its way to the country. The reasoning for that is simple: One of the highlight features of the Pixel 4 is Motion Sense that allows for hands-off gestures and a new way to unlock the phone.

Nook HD and HD+ rooted, custom ROMs are still a long way down the road

Although Barnes & Noble’s tablets have never been on top of many tech enthusiasts’ wishlists, the independent developer community has always taken the time to root the gadgets and come out with custom ROMs to replace B&N’s own forks of Android. The Nook HD and HD+ duo couldn’t have made an exception from that rule, so it’s not a shocker that just a couple of weeks after the tabs’ launches, the first step to software freedom has been made.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Full Review

I’ve had the Galaxy Tab 8.9 by Samsung for about a full week now which means I’ve had some time to gather my thoughts and decide how I truly feel  about the device. With all honesty this tablet is amazing it does very well with anything you throw at it from multitasking to smooth graphics this tablet will do it all. While using the Tab 8.9 I experienced little to no lag regardless of how many tasks I was attempting to accomplish.

The scoop on Samsung’s Bluetooth C-Pen stylus

We heard whispers and rumors of Samsung’s new Bluetooth-enabled C-Pen stylus last year, but at the time there really just wasn’t anything to say about it except “Samsung is working on it.” Now, however, the retailer Cyberport has posted information about this fancy little device on their page, giving us a sneak peek into what exactly we can look forward to when it comes to the Samsung Bluetooth C-Pen, for use with the Windows-powered Galaxy Tab Pro S.

Android 11 on TVs: Here's what to expect

TL;DR Google is rolling out Android 11 on Android TV, and it’s promising a wave of new features. Low-latency audio, better gamepad support, speed-ups, and privacy are part of the upgrade. It may take months for the update to reach your set, however. Google is following the mobile release of Android 11 with its equivalent for Android TV, and there are some significant improvements in store — if sometimes under the surface.

Deal: The LG Watch W7 is already almost half off

Even though LG announced the Watch W7 just over a month ago, Best Buy now offers the quirky smartwatch for almost half the original price. That brings the Watch W7 down from $449.99 to $249.99. In some ways, the Watch W7 is an engineering feat. The smartwatch features two mechanical hands that allow it to work for up to 100 days in watch-only mode. Even when the smartwatch dies while in smart mode, the mechanical hands will continue to work for two to three additional days.

NBA coach green bubble shamed Android-using player, punished team

Robert Triggs / Android Authority TL;DR NBA coach Jason Kidd once green bubble shamed a Milwaukee Bucks player. Not only did he chastise the player for using an Android phone, but he made the whole team do runs in response. Kidd felt that one player not using an iPhone made the team less united. I’ve written a few times about the iPhone vs Android debate and how I feel it has run its course.

Samsung has upped the megapixel ante in recent times, offering 48MP, 64MP, and 108MP camera sensors. The company has even stated its long-term goal to offer 600MP cameras of some kind down the line. Now, Samsung has announced the 50MP Isocell GN1 camera sensor, and it sacrifices resolution for bigger pixels. The new camera sensor offers a 1/1.31-inch sensor size and 1.2 micron pixels as opposed to 0.8 micron pixels seen in Samsung’s other high resolution sensors.
