Hands-on: Asus ROG's PG65 "Big Format Gaming Display" with Android TV

If you love playing video games, you know the woes of needing to game on a PC monitor vs being able to hang out on your couch and play on the TV. Technically you could stream your game to your TV or just connect it directly, but you could never really get the same experience on a TV as you could on your high end monitor. Latest Fitbit Blaze firmware update finally makes the tracker worth buying

The Fitbit Blaze is a deceptive little fitness tracker. It may look like a smartwatch on the surface, but dive a little deeper and you’ll find it’s actually missing most of the smartwatch-y features we’ve come to expect from fitness tracker/smartwatch hybrids. When we reviewed the Blaze a few months ago, the lack of third-party notification support and poor selection of watch faces were some of our biggest gripes with this tracker. Thankfully Fitbit has finally heard our cries and released a new update that fixes these issues.

With Arm-powered Macs right around the corner, the Cortex-A78C could end up as the rival CPU in the Windows on Arm ecosystem for 2021 laptops.

Fact checking Huawei's claims of superiority

Richard Yu’s keynote announcement of Huawei’s new Kirin 980 smartphone SoC was an unusually aggressive affair. The company has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 firmly in its sights, with comparisons and benchmarks abound that showcase the Kirin 980 coming out on top. Of course, without a smartphone in our own hands, we shouldn’t be too trusting of Huawei’s own internal testing. However, we can definitely take a look at some of the company’s claims and see which make sense given the bountiful details that we already have on the latest Arm CPU and GPU parts that the 980 is using.

Google Pixel 4 had 4K/60fps support, but it was reportedly pulled before launch

The Google Pixel 4 doesn’t have the most comprehensive video recording support, lacking the 4K/60fps functionality that’s become the top-end recording option for many flagship phones. Now, XDA-Developers editor-in-chief Mishaal Rahman has revealed that the Pixel 4 series originally offered the feature, citing references on Google’s Git repository.
