Alphabet‘s Project Loon might still be experimental in nature, but it just delivered real hope to 100,000 Puerto Rico residents in what the Project Loon team called the fastest deployment of its Internet-providing balloons ever.

VPN by Google One is now available in select markets outside the US. The new locations include Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and the UK. Owners of Motorola’s unlocked version of the Moto Z have been waiting very patiently to get the Android Nougat update that has been promised for some time. The Verizon versions of the Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid were able to download those updates in mid-November, so it’s understandable why unlocked owners would be a little impatient. Now there’s some concrete news on a time frame for when the unlocked Moto Z will get the same update love, along with both the unlocked and Verizon Droid versions of the budget-priced Moto Z Play.

LG on Wednesday unveiled its new flagship device, the LG G2, but it didn’t provide pricing details and launch dates for the device.
While LG did say that the phone will be available from the four main U.S. carriers, and other mobile operators, later this year, it did not reveal actual availability information.
However, a German website has already listed the LG G2 for pre-order, suggesting that the 16GB model will cost €599 and the 32GB model will sell for €629.
The Android One family may be getting another addition thanks to a rumored collaboration between T-Mobile and LG.
According to kernel source code unearthed by an XDA-Developers user, LG is working with the U.S. carrier on releasing an exclusive variant of the LG Q7 that runs on unmodified Android software. The mooted device would be LG’s first ever Android One phone.
