Verizon’s promotion nets active-duty military, reservists, Gold Star families, and veterans $15 off one line, $35 off two lines, and $40 off three or more lines.
Samsung revealed a partnership with AMD back in 2019 which would see the graphics company build a GPU for Exynos smartphone processors. It’s been a wait since then, but now Samsung has finally announced the first product in this partnership, the Exynos 2200.
The Exynos 2200 brings a Samsung 4nm design as well as the new Armv9 CPU cores. The core layout is similar to Mediatek and Qualcomm’s latest SoCs, featuring a single Cortex-X2 for heavy lifting, three Cortex-A710 cores for medium tasks, and four Cortex-A510 little cores.

Xiaomi is now the top smartphone brand in Europe, according to a report. The news comes after several Q2 2021 reports found that it was the number two brand globally. Xiaomi has enjoyed a ton of momentum in 2021 as it took second place from Apple in terms of global shipments and delivered impressive yearly growth. The good news isn’t stopping there though, as a European market share report has revealed that the Chinese brand is now number one in Europe.
Now Samsung tries to hammer the point home with a post detailing some of the technical specifications of the Super AMOLED display of the Galaxy S5.
The company explains how the adaptive mode on the Galaxy S5 enables it to quickly change settings like brightness and contrast levels in order to reduce glare and maintain the screen usable even in bright daylight. According to Samsung, the S5 is able to output an Ambient Color Gamut (the set of colors discernible on the screen) that’s 1.
