Command & Conquer: Rivals - Download now on Google Play Store!

Update, December 4, 2018 (6:02 p.m. ET): The second most hated new mobile game based on a classic PC franchise, Command & Conquer: Rivals, is now live on the Google Play Store. The reimagined take on C&C with Clash Royale-like gameplay was first announced back in June to a somewhat frosty reception at EA’s annual showcase around the E3 gaming expo. Rivals has been in soft launch for a while now in select regions and the reviews from that time have been generally mixed.

The new Google Photos app is a great way to keep all of your pictures and videos backed up to the cloud. Not only does the service offer up tons of new features and improvements over Google’s previous Photos application, the company is also letting you back up all of your photos and videos for free. Although there are a few caveats that come with the term ‘unlimited storage’ in this case, Google is still providing a great way for users to easily store important media in the cloud.

One of the ways to protect your smartphone from the prying eyes of others is to set a secure lockscreen; be it with the PIN, pattern, or password lock. But then again, they might not be good enough if you own a Samsung handset running Android 4.1.2, or in this particular case, the Galaxy Note 2. Sony Xperia XZ Premium review

Sony Xperia XZ PremiumThe Sony Xperia XZ Premium goes all in with features that the company dabbled in with recent offerings, making it a worthy consideration for anyone that is willing to overlook the lack of a fingerprint reader and basically non-existent carrier availability in the States. Table of contents It’s been a while since I’ve used an Xperia phone. While Lanh has done a great job reviewing them in the last year or so, I have had the pleasure of using the Xperia XZ Premium for the last couple of weeks.

Sony Xperia Z5 review

Sony Xperia Z5The Sony Xperia Z5 is a great smartphone, but once again is an incremental update from its predecessor - the fingerprint scanner being the biggest new feature. Although the Z5 is a durable device with fast and clean software, you’ll have to ask yourself if it’s worth it’s price tag. Table of contents With Sony’s mobile future uncertain, the Japanese giant really needs to hit a home run if they want to win over today’s smartphone consumers.

Here's why everyone should own a cheap Android tablet

C. Scott Brown / Android Authority Here at Android Authority, we tend to put a lot of focus on the high-profile releases of the year. Invariably, most of these tend to be premium devices — the best on offer at any moment. However, just because something is objectively “the best,” it doesn’t always mean it’s the most utilitarian. A Galaxy Note 20 Ultra might be one of the best phones you can buy, but that doesn’t mean it’s the best phone for your pre-teen child.

HTC 10 review! - Android Authority

By refining established strengths (audio and design) and improving core weaknesses (camera), HTC has returned to the flagship arena with the HTC 10, which brings everything the high end market requires in HTC's own signature style. Table of contents It would be an understatement to say that HTC has hit a bit of a rough patch over the last couple of years. While HTC’s 2015 flagship brought with it everything the company is known for, including an impeccable design and fantastic software experience, the device failed to live up to expectations in key aspects, such as the camera, which was especially disappointing in a year where the competition was particularly focused on camera performance.

Robert Triggs / Android Authority Google isn’t just giving Pixel owners a feature drop as the month begins — it’s also providing an important patch. Droid Life reports the company is rolling out Android’s March 2021 security update to Pixel phones ranging from the Pixel 3 to the Pixel 5. The March update delivers fixes for 43 Android security issues, including eight high-priority vulnerabilities. It may be worth updating for these improvements alone, even if you’re unlikely to face an attack.
