Apple unveiled a variety of new products during its WWDC 2013 keynote, including iOS 7, the next-gen operating system for its mobile devices including the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. From the start, we’re going to tell you that the iOS 7 rumors were right when they said the new OS will come with a “flat,” minimal interface, and the leaks were pretty accurate as well earlier this week when various reports detailed some of the upcoming changes.

Pick up a refurbished Dell Chromebook from just $88

We don’t all have $1,500 for a MacBook, but many of us don’t need all of those bells and whistles. For your basic laptop needs at an affordable price, this Dell Chromebook is a sound option. It might be no-frills, but this is a solid machine. The 2.1GHz Intel Celeron processor and 4GB of RAM are more than enough for multitasking or streaming content. 16GB of SSD storage isn’t for hoarding files, but it’s good for reliable performance.

company admits mistake, asks fans for help

ZTE’s Hawkeye smartphone project is being reconsidered after an underwhelming response to it on Kickstarter. The Hawkeye would provide eye-tracking technology to allow it to be manipulated hands-free and went up for pre-order on Kickstarter for $199 at the start of the month. After the revealing the device’s specs last week, however, ZTE believes it could have misjudged the expectations of backers. The device itself arrived from ZTE’s Project CSX contest in which the company asked for user concept submissions for a new smartphone.

How to set up Gmail templates and some practical uses

If you send lots of emails every day, say for work purposes, you may have realized that you are typing the same thing over and over to different people. Whether it’s a standard job application cover letter, an acknowledgment that you’ve received something, or a request that you want to send out to dozens of people, you don’t want to type it repeatedly. That’s why Gmail templates are among the best inventions ever.

HP Chromebook 15 is its first 15-inch ChromeOS laptop

The world of Chromebooks just keeps on growing, both literally and figuratively. Case in point, HP just announced the HP Chromebook 15, the company’s first 15-inch Chrome OS laptop (via CNET). Because of its sheer size, HP was able to cram a full number pad next to the typical keyboard, which is certainly nice if you need a number pad on your laptop. That keyboard also features backlit keys, which is always a nice touch, especially on a Chromebook which usually costs much less than a typical Windows- or Mac OS-based laptop.

The BlackBerry KEY2 will launch on June 7

The image below was sent out with the tweet. The new BlackBerry KEY2 logo (with a numeral “2” rather than “two” spelled out, like the company did with the KEYone) is in the lower right-hand corner, and the date and time are near the center. Along with the image, BlackBerry included three Emoji in place of text: a key Emoji (?), a numeral “2” Emoji (2⃣), and the eyes Emoji (?
