There has been a lot of ongoing research into the applications of OLED displays, with companies like Sony, Samsung, and LG all working towards flexible and bendable display capabilities.

LG will start releasing Android 10 update this year

LG has never been known for its prompt Android version updates. Last year, Android 9 started rolling out to devices in August, but LG users didn’t see a public stable release until nine months later. LG is trying to make up for its previous shortcomings this time around. Today, it is announcing the start of an Android 10 public preview program in Korea. LG plans to release the official update by the end of the year.

Amazon game controller spotted, evidence of Amazon gaming set-top box?

Thanks to a new filing with the Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações — essentially the Brazilian equivalent of the FCC — we now have an image of an Amazon-branded game controller that suggests a gaming-capable set-top box isn’t too far off. As you can see in the screenshot, the gamepad looks quite a bit like an Xbox controller, like we’ve seen from many of the Android micro-consoles such as the Ouya. There’s two thumbsticks, a D-pad, four action buttons, shoulder buttons and triggers.
