The first one is awfully similar to Sprint’s Galaxy S3 model number (SPH-L710,) while the latter could be the Galaxy S4 version heading to U.

ZTE Axon Mini Premium Edition review

ZTE Axon Mini Premium EditionZTE has added quite a bit of extra value with the pressure-sensitive display, the fingerprint reader and the high-end audio. The 3GB of RAM is also good to see, as is 32GB of storage. But, the processor doesn't match the rest of the specs. Table of contents Read more: Design The design of the ZTE Axon Mini Premium Edition is certainly striking. Not only do you get the Axon’s triangle moire design at the top and the bottom of the device, but the phone comes in gold or silver, quite different to the run-of-the-mill black or white.

Google Glass might project a laser keyboard right on your hand

Sergey Brin demonstrates Google Glass Google Glass, the brainchild of the folks working in Google’s fabled X labs, seems plucked straight out of a sci-fi movie. But the “smart glasses” are very real, and the designers and engineers that make them have some very real problems to solve. For instance, how do you dial a number using the Google Glass? Or how do you input text in the situations when voice control is not an option?

Hands-on with the LG Watch Urbane Luxe: Android Wear, deluxe

The new Watch Urbane Luxe has a fancy name and comes in a fancy box. But is it fancy enough to justify a $1200 price tag? Verizon's Droid Razr and Razr Maxx getting Jelly Bean update early

What can be considered as a holiday miracle, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the Droid Razr and the Droid Razr Maxx was pushed out by Verizon on Christmas Eve, only for the carrier to pull it thereafter. Some folks were able to download the whole software package (331.7MB in size) and install Jelly Bean on their phones, while some reported an update failure. a mobile hotspot/projector/power bank with a pinch of Android

Sprint describes the LivePro as a “easily pocketable multiuse mini projector and mobile hotspot” and hopes to sell it to professionals who need an all-in-one tool for presentations on the go. Concept art for supposed Google Pixel Fold looks cool

TL;DR A designer on YouTube going by the name Waqar Khan produced a concept video of a Google Pixel Fold. This is not the “real” foldable phone from Google (which may or may not exist) but just an idea of what it could look like. The designer imagines a hybrid between a Galaxy Z Fold and the confirmed Pixel 6 designs. We’ve heard plenty of rumors surrounding the idea of Google launching a foldable phone this year.

TL;DR France has fined Google the equivalent of $590 million for allegedly failing to negotiate deals with news publishers in ‘good faith.’ Google has two months to propose compensation for news content. It’s the latest in a string of government actions against the tech giant. Regulators aren’t done demanding corrective action from Google. Android Central noted that Google has agreed to pay a €500 million fine (about $590 million) after France’s competition regulator (Autorité de la concurrence) determined the search giant hadn’t negotiated news content deals “in good faith” with publishers.

Samsung patent suggests tablet-notebook hybrid may be in the works

A recently revealed Samsung patent suggests the company may be working on a hybrid device that would hit stores at some point in the not-to-distant future. The patent, filed in December 2011 with the US Patent and Trademark Office, details a mechanism that would allow the company to pair a touchscreen display with a full-sized keyboard that would let the user switch between tablet mode or notebook mode. In other words, we’re looking at a patent that describes a hinge required to bind together the two components as well as to allow a seamless transition between the two modes.
