Nexus 6P has the second best mobile camera (according to DxOMark)

The Nexus line-up has never been famous for its cameras. In fact, some of us are willing to say a few of their devices have had significantly disappointing photographic results. This is why most of us weren’t expecting much out of the Nexus 6P camera technology (and let’s not even mention the Nexus 5X). Furthermore, things started getting worrisome to some of you once Google started talking about the lack of OIS (optical image stabilization).

The Nintendo Switch is the latest game console from the famed Japanese gaming company, which launched late last week to huge sales, but mixed reviews so far. One of the console’s standout features is its Joy-Con controllers, which are designed to be used in multiple ways. As it turns out, those same controllers can also be used to play games on Windows, MacOS and Android devices in addition to titles made on the Switch.

A OnePlus 9 prototype reportedly sold for $6,000 on eBay

TL;DR An eBay user has sold what’s claimed to be a OnePlus 9 prototype for $6,000. The device appears to be one from an earlier leak. Don’t be surprised if OnePlus turns the phone into a paperweight. Remember that mid-December leak appearing to show live photos of the OnePlus 9? It’s back — and the device might have changed hands. XDA‘s Mishaal Rahman and Android Police report that eBay user Shamete1 was listing the prototype phone at auction and sold it for $6,000.

After first touching down to Sprint, US Cellular and T-Mobile, an Android 4.4 update is finally making its way to the Galaxy Note 3 on AT&T’s network! Just like what we’ve seen from the Galaxy Note 3 update from other networks, there’s really not a lot new here outside of all the new KitKat features you’d expect. There are at least a few small Samsung-specific changes, however, such as minor visual changes like the new all-white status bar icons and new sound controls.

Alcatel OT-903 Android smartphone coming to Three UK

Cracking the smartphone market in Europe isn’t the easiest thing to do if you don’t have all the chops and credentials. Just ask Panasonic, as the Japanese firm is reportedly on the verge of packing its bags and leaving behind its European dream for the second time around. We’re not sure if there’s more luck to be had for a European phone maker (French, to be exact), but it’s something that Alcatel is willing to bet its money on with the release of the One Touch 903 on Three UK.

Amazon Underground has three times as many Android apps than ever before

Amazon has been playing around with a pretty interesting business model lately, and their use of it involving Android apps has seen a 300% growth since its inception. The idea is simple. Creators should get paid in proportion to the amount of time a consumer engages the creative content. Amazon first came up with the idea when crowds of writers with cartoonish dollar signs in their eyes flooded the Kindle self-publication platform with an unrelenting tide of werewolf erotica.
