It seems that Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 owners have been waiting a lifetime to see anything other than Android 2.3 Gingerbread on their device. Last September, Samsung said that the phone will skip Ice Cream Sandwich and go straight to Jelly Bean, which is great and all, but the problem is that the update is still nowhere to be seen close to half a year later.

Canalys reports that Xiaomi has moved past Apple to take second place in Europe. Apple is still ahead of Xiaomi in Western Europe, the research company notes. Oppo recorded the most impressive growth out of the top five players though.
