TL;DR
A Huawei executive reportedly said that Harmony OS is coming to Europe in 2022. The employee was asked why Harmony OS wasn’t available on the newly launched Nova 9 phone. The Huawei representative also confirmed that new Mate phones are coming next year, skipping 2021. Huawei decided to create its own mobile platform dubbed Harmony OS in the wake of the US trade ban.
Google’s Digital Wellbeing initiative is excellent, but it’s limited to Pixel and Android One handsets. Fortunately, Chris Lacy, the developer behind Action Launcher and other apps, just released ActionDash, bringing most of Digital Wellbeing’s features to every Android device.

A new report suggests Apple has cut iPhone SE (2022) production by as much as 20%. Allegedly, Apple made the decision due to lower-than-expected interest in the device. The new iPhone SE is more expensive than the 2020 model but looks the same. Earlier this month, Apple launched the newest budget-minded iPhone. The phone comes with a few internal upgrades when compared to its predecessor, including a faster processor, a bigger battery, and 5G support.
Arlo Video DoorbellThe Arlo Video Doorbell is a more affordable choice when compared to select products from Ring. Moreover, it offers superior 2K or 4K video capture, which provides unprecedented levels of detail. On the downside, it requires an existing powered doorbell and chime to function properly, which makes it a non-option for some.
At least a half dozen companies are vying for your video doorbell dollars and Arlo is one of them.
Update: March 19, 2020 – Sling TV has announced that it has added live streaming of the Fox News channel to its free slate of programming. It is also adding local Fox News from 18 cities, including New York City, Chicago, Atlanta and more.

First announced back in June, Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee has finally made its way to the Google Play Store. Munch’s Oddysee was released for the Xbox way back in 2001 and is the third game made by Oddworld Inhabitants. The game has been slated to come to mobile devices for quite some time, so it’s great to finally see it become available.
So what’s this title all about? Much like other Oddworld games, Munch’s Oddysee is very strange.

The OnePlus Nord N10 and N100 phones are available now in the US and Canada. Both budget phones will only be available for T-Mobile and Metro users here in the US. They’ll start at prices of $179 for the N100 and $299 for the N10 5G. Update, January 15, 2021 (10:00 AM ET): If you’re on the hunt for a budget Android phone that can still make use of 5G networks, there’s a OnePlus device that’s now available.
Users of the Samsung Captivate I897 will have reasons to celebrate as an all new Ice Cream Sandwich ROM has been released for the device.
The fully opensource ROM known as Codename Android will set new standards in custom ROM modifications. Codename Android is based on Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich and is built with speed, stability, and customizability in mind.
The Samsung Captivate I897 was recently blessed with the Codename Android ROM, which roughly translates to official Codename Android ROMs instead of unofficial ports.
Update: An LG spokesman has pointed Android Authority in the direction of this passage in the LG G5 press release: “the insulative antenna is invisibly integrated into the body without disrupting the seamless look of the metal uni-body." We're awaiting further clarification, but it does sound as though the section revealed in the video might just be a small plastic antenna section while the rest of the G5 body is indeed metal. We'll bring you further details as they arise.
TL;DR
OnePlus revealed that the OnePlus 9 series will get a two year warranty in China. Representatives have now confirmed that this doesn’t apply to India or North America. The OnePlus 9 series launch is but a few days away, and the company has been issuing a drip-feed of information in the run-up to the event. One of the more interesting nuggets shared by the company related to the range’s warranty.
