The current Android titans — that’s how the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One are referred to these days. They’re Samsung’s and HTC’s most powerful offerings to the high-end Android market, and the two phones bring with them not just processing might or camera power, but also display prowess.
Both 1080p Full HD phones, the S4 and the One can be expected to deliver rich details, amazing color, and overall visual pleasure on their respective screens.
Taking a screenshot is one of the most simple and useful feature that you can take advantage of on your Android smartphone. For the majority of Android phones, taking a screenshot involves pressing volume down and power simultaneously. If you have a Samsung, it’s typically volume down and home. With the LG G3 the button combination is still volume down and power at the same time but since the G3’s buttons are located on the back the approach is a little different.

Motorola initially announced its shatter-proof display Droid Turbo 2 (also known as the Moto X Force) with a drop test and it was only a matter of time before other people starting putting the smartphone through some tougher tests. Youtube channel UnlockRiver has taken the challenge quite a bit further, with a 900 foot drop test.
Motorola’s display gets its shatter-proof properties from five individual flexible plastic layers that are stacked on top of the OLED panel, rather than using glass to protect the underlying circuit.
Those who purchase the $999 Dark Wyvern will also receive the Turing Armor protective case. This may sound trivial, but wait until you hear the details around this case – it’s not your usual one. The company is highlighting the super fast data transfer technology, called Wind Tunnel, that comes integrated in this phone cover. The gadget is WiGig-enabled, which means it supports data transfers of about 3.2 GB in under 25 seconds. It can also back up 64 GB of data in less than 8 minutes.
Mobile chip developers have been lining up their next generation hardware for a few months now and Huawei’s HiSilicon has just announced its new high-end Kirin 950, and it’s a beast.

So what happened to make Epic finally cave and bring Fortnite to the Play Store? According to the company’s statement, it looks like Google’s policies towards Android apps that don’t originate from the official store forced Epic’s hand in the matter. Check out a portion of the statement below:
After 18 months of operating Fortnite on Android outside of the Google Play Store, we’ve come to a basic realization:
Google puts software downloadable outside of Google Play at a disadvantage, through technical and business measures such as scary, repetitive security pop-ups for downloaded and updated software, restrictive manufacturer and carrier agreements and dealings, Google public relations characterizing third party software sources as malware, and new efforts such as Google Play Protect to outright block software obtained outside the Google Play store.
One of the biggest changes in the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge is the lack of a removable battery, and this means you’re stuck with the 2600-mAh battery that comes built into the handset. As we covered in our Galaxy S6 Edge battery life review, my usage means that I get on average 14 to 18 hours battery life. However, like with most Android smartphones, there are a few simple tips to make the most of your S6 Edge battery.
