OnePlus One coming to India via Amazon from December 2

It’s official – the elusive OnePlus One will be hitting India from December 2, exclusively through the local branch of Amazon. Amazon and OnePlus will be seeding 1,000 invites across the internet, and users will need to get hold of one in order to purchase the device. One avenue that is already open is subscribing to OnePlus’ newsletter. Once the invites go out (by December 2), customers will have 48 hours to complete the purchase.

The RuuviTag is a microcontroller-based sensor node which can measure temperature, relative air humidity, air pressure and motion (via a built-in accelerometer), and transmit that data over Bluetooth Low Energy. It includes a 1,000mAh CR2477 battery, which means it can run for up to four years without the need to change the battery. It can operate indoors or outdoors due to its IP67 certified weatherproof enclosure, and its -40ºC to +85ºC operating parameters!

Swarovski to launch its first Android Wear smartwatch in March

Austrian brand Swarovski will launch its first Android Wear smartwatch at the watch and jewelry show Baselworld 2017, which begins March 23. The timepiece is being developed in partnership with Qualcomm and Google, and will be designed exclusively for women. Swarovski has previously worked on smartwatches (see the Samsung Gear S strap in the image above and the Huawei Watch For Ladies) but hasn’t yet introduced its own device. The watch was teased at CES 2017 where Swarovski revealed it would use a Qualcomm processor, but more specific details regarding price, availability and hardware haven’t been outlined.
