Leak gives us our first look at Marshmallow for the Galaxy S6

Samsung is apparently right in the middle of its testing phase leading up to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow release for its Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 smartphones and some newly leaked screenshots show that Samsung has quite a few changes planned for its TouchWiz interface. Coming from a Chinese preview build running on the Galaxy S6, the screenshots show that Samsung is continuing to flatten down the look of its user interface and seems to have made some major changes to its notification bar.

T-Mo CEO promises same or better rate plans after T-Mobile-Sprint merger

TL;DR T-Mobile CEO John Legere posted an open letter to the FCC discussing the proposed T-Mobile-Sprint merger. In the letter, Legere promises not to raise rates above their current standing for the next three years, should the merger go through. Legere also promises to remain true to customers and its “Uncarrier” ideology. In the letter, Legere calls out critics of the merger whom he says are “largely employed by Big Telco and Big Cable.

Acer DA241HL All-in-One Android desktop comes with Tegra 3 power

Acer has unveiled a 24-inch All-in-One Android-based desktop, with a few days to go until IFA 2013 kicks off. The DA241HL is the AiO in question, packing a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor. We’re looking at a 24-inch touchscreen device that runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is ready to offer users “the same familiar interface used on other Android devices, such as smartphones and tablets that are increasingly popular for media consumption, web browsing or social media interactions.

Airtel has been named as the fastest wireless carrier in India by OpenSignal

In its first study of the overall wireless market in India, OpenSignal has declared that Airtel is the carrier with the fastest download speeds, on both its 4G and its 3G networks. Smartphone upgrade cycles are actually shrinking in India News OpenSignal said its survey was based on 1.3 billion measurements from 93,464 customers on the major wireless networks between December 2016 and February 2017. It stated that Airtel’s average 4G speeds came in at 11.
