Audio-Technica announces Sound Reality true wireless earbuds

Internally, the Audio-Technica Sound Reality truly wireless earbuds sport an integrated DAC and amplifier (AK4375 from AKM), which is impressive given that combined they weigh just eight grams. Each earbud houses an 11mm “diamond-like carbon coated diaphragm” which minimizes weight while maintaining the drivers’ rigidity. This material reduces frequency distortion during music playback. Separation of the acoustic and electronic components also allows unmitigated airflow from the drivers to your ear, resulting in more accurate sound reproduction.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium hands-on and first look

The race to next generation displays is certainly heating up and while most companies still offer either Full HD or Quad HD panels, Sony has sought to steal the IFA 2015 show with its new Xperia Z5 Premium. Although the story goes into great detail about the difference between 4G and 3G networks, the bottom line is that carriers are delivering significantly more speeds at half the cost/effort.

No Venue: Dell discontinues its Android tablets

If the modern mobile industry is a trinity of sorts, tablets would definitely be one of the pillars, along with smartphones and wearables. Much has been mentioned about the “oversized phone” market, but perhaps nothing as curious as its decline. Tablets were once set for explosive growth and prominence, yet in recent years have begun to fizzle out to such a clear degree that even Samsung – which had oodles to offer at one point – has done an about face and Apple – the industry leader in sales – is having major trouble.

HTC Desire U unveiled in Taiwan

Okay, so HTC clearly didn’t stick to the “hero” strategy announced about a year ago, and continued to segment the company’s phone line-up. In fact, we bet it’s now much harder for people to keep up with all new HTC devices than it was in late 2011. The hectic branding can’t be of much help either, being impossible to differentiate five One devices and six Desires by the letter or letters attached to the names.
