Numerous reports of T-Mobile LTE network outage

It is not just one device having issues as people on the Nexus 5, iPhone 5, iPhone 5s and the OnePlus One have all been dealing with these network issues. TMONews puts out a possible theory as to this recent outage: “To me, this seems like a simple case of teething issues. Like I’ve already mentioned, there are always problems when networks are being upgraded. And you only have to read posts here from the past few weeks to know that VoLTE, 4G, and Wideband LTE are being activated in new locations at break-neck speeds.

PenTile RG-BW LCD display on the new Note 10.1 consumes 30% less power

The new Note 10.1 2014 Edition is a sleek piece of gear. We saw it at IFA last week and we loved its super crisp display and thin profile, and then there’s the S Pen and all the creative things that you can do with it. With its faux leather finish, the new Note 10.1 looks pretty smart on the outside, but its innards are just as intelligent. Among them is the 10.

So, here are the six new phones that Asus just launched

Asus has just announced the Zenfone 4 range at an event in Taipei, Taiwan, consisting of six smartphones. The handsets were introduced alongside the tagline “We love photo,” so, as you would expect, these devices all have a particular focus on camera tech. We’ve got specs and price details for most of the handsets, as well as some well-produced video promos for all but one of them. Here’s the lowdown on what was introduced.

You've had a wearable die because you didn't have a charger

Smartwatches and fitness trackers are pretty commonplace these days, as everyone from Apple and Samsung to Fitbit and Xiaomi offer these devices. One issue with many of these wearables is that they often use special chargers compared to smartphones. This got us thinking whether your smartwatch or fitness tracker has ever conked out because you didn’t have its charger available. We posed this question a few weeks ago, and here’s what you told us.

Full Google Pixel and Pixel XL specifications leaked by retailer

Google just found out, the hard way, how difficult it can be to coordinate a major smartphone launch. Details about its first self-branded smartphones, the Pixel and Pixel XL, have been published by several retailers ahead of their official unveiling tomorrow. The most revealing leak comes from Carphone Warehouse. The British retailer put up, and quickly removed, product listings for the Pixel and Pixel XL. The listings confirm much of what we were anticipating thanks to older leaks, and add a handful of new details.

Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Gear pre-orders start on September 6 from Verizon

Both the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear will be available for pre-order starting with September 6 at 9AM EST. However, Verizon has not mentioned actual prices for the two gadgets, nor did it say when they will be launched. Samsung confirmed on stage during its Unpacked 2 event yesterday that all its new devices – including the Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) – will be launched on September 25 in certain markets, with 149 countries to get it in October.

Next generation Pixel Qi screens to be "better than iPad 3 displays"?

The Adam tablet from Notion Ink is probably the only (sort of) well-known device on the market today that sports a Pixel Qi screen. Nevertheless, we’ve been having the feeling for a while that the California-based startup is preparing something big. That something big has just been revealed to be its next generation of displays, which the company claims are “better than iPad 3 displays”. That is a truly bold statement, considering the fact that Apple’s latest tablet sports a pretty phenomenal 9.
