While Garmin does have some room to improve with its Move IQ technology and Connect app, we can honestly say that, for the money, this is one of the better fitness trackers on the market. Garmin has been making fitness and activity trackers for quite some time now, and perhaps one of the most beefy, jack-of-all-trade offerings from the company so far is the vívoactive HR.
One of the more subtle points of note on the new Galaxy S8 spec sheet is the move on over to 64 GB of internal memory as the only storage option on offer. Samsung initially took this decision with the Note 7 and, in fact, isn’t even advertising 32 GB UFS flash memory chips over at its memory business either. The company only has three modules, which are available in 64, 128, and 256 GB capacities.
If you needed another clue that the launch of the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 is nigh, three new animated commercials apparently featuring the devices went live a few hours ago.
While we can’t guarantee that the huge device one of the Androidified characters pulls out in the ad below is the Nexus 6, it sure looks so – the device features the general shape of the Moto X (just as rumored), the new Android L navigation buttons, and a new ringtone.

Gallium-nitride integrated circuits can sustain higher voltages than silicon chips, meaning manufacturers can pack more performance in smaller form factors. The technology is still pretty new, and relatively expensive, but as more manufacturers are jumping on the bandwagon prices are bound to go down.

Although its name is a bit nebulous, Fitbit’s menstrual health feature is simply Fitbit’s period tracking tool.
Adblock has been a life-saver to many web advertising critics out there. This software makes publicity disappear in most websites, but the problem with a cleaner internet is that those running these pages have found themselves affected by lower revenues. Pagefair’s studies corroborate that about 144 million users take advantage of Adblock as of the end of 2014, which accounts for about 5% of the whole internet community. This would seem like a small number, but since these numbers are mostly concentrated in western markets, profits have seen a significant impact.
The OnePlus Concept One is a pretty standard concept handset, apart from one rather nifty feature. The Concept One uses electrochromic glass to hide and reveal the phone’s triple camera lenses. Taking just 0.7 seconds to turn the glass from opaque to transparent. Clearly, this is predominantly a style thing, but OnePlus also says it the glass controls the amount of light reaching the camera.
Although the Concept One won’t hit store shelves, OnePlus is looking into using the tech in future devices.
