The last time Google publically and officially labeled an Android version with a “sweet treat” moniker was 2018’s Android 9 Pie. Android 10 was the first no-nonsense release, with Android 11 and Android 12 also going without any formally acknowledged treat name.

Nowhere is that truer than in their holiday offerings. You can usually expect some minor conflict — a flight cancellation, a rival inn, a new boss who plans to shake things up — and a neat and tidy resolution before the credits roll.
