At the time of this writing, the new Play Games features have only been integrated in a small handful of games, but we should see more integration as time goes on. Starting in mid-March, non-paying users will only be able to use the service on one of two platform categories, namely PC or mobile. That means you won’t be able to use the service on both your laptop and your phone. You’ll need to pick one or the other. Obviously, people who fork out the cash for the premium version of the service won’t have this limitation.

Five years of Wear OS and we still can't recommend it

Samsung offering $10,000 reward to Tizen app developers

Samsung is looking to boost app development inside its Tizen OS spin-off ecosystem with the launch of the company’s new Tizen Mobile App Incentive Program. The program is designed to support the developer community in order to grow Samsung’s ecosystem, and there’s $10,000 up for grabs for developers who submit their apps. The new program is scheduled to run from February 2017 through to October 2017, giving developers time to make a start on their app ideas.

Update, November 8, 2019 (02:00 AM ET): Sprint and Syniverse, a third-party vendor responsible for yesterday’s weird text phenomenon, have given official statements to Gizmodo. You can read them below: Sprint: “A maintenance update occurred to part of the messaging platforms of multiple carriers in the U.S., including Sprint, which caused some customers to have older text messages sent to their devices.” Syniverse: “During an internal maintenance cycle last night, 168,149 previously undelivered text messages were inadvertently sent to multiple mobile operators’ subscribers.
